不料，日军也早已发觉这支舰队的存在，并且不断对其的行踪进行追踪，在注意到盟军舰队返航的路径靠近日军基地sabang后，日军驻守南洋的分舰队果断全速出击！同时卧薪尝胆苦练技能的陆军陆攻机队也做好了出击准备。
