西蒙大将的大小KB都在印度洋巡游,所以TF58才会毫无顾忌在NG活动。另外,霍恩岛附近并没有适合陆攻出击的机场,至于SS,盟军的TF58在NG的时候就已经可以在SS大阵中进出自如而毫发无伤了。

西蒙大将在拉包尔是有个航空群啊,一直很活跃的压制莫港机场。直到TF58到来以后,炮击了布纳机场,并掩护了莫港海域,阻止了西蒙大将从拉包尔炮击莫港的战术,此后莫港才逐渐重新掌控了制空权。- v3 j' c1 F) Y
此外这次驻岛舰队炮击霍恩岛,地点距离拉包尔也实在太远了点,鞭长莫及啊。
