实践证明即使是6000的人环礁,如果日军经营得当,重点布防,盟军及时全力进攻也很艰难,盟军上岛人数已经超过12000人,陆战三师的补给惩罚已经堆叠到每天消耗一万吨补给,即使这样,也不能保证顺利拿下威克岛,所幸陆战三师经验丰富,斗志高昂,在滩头略作调整之后将一鼓作气拿下威克岛
