从2月初盟军潜艇在新加坡水道发现KB几大批运输船的踪迹后,大统领9527就已经判断出日军下一步将展开印度战役,正在开普敦修整的TF58整合了美军全部4条舰队CV立刻从开普敦出发,历时10余天终于到达迭戈加西亚岛附近,进过短暂的加油后,全舰队直接向锡兰至新加坡中间的开阔洋面前进。5 T# u; [# O% A3 H' n0 ^) T" ?
