大猫天皇指挥KB对莫港进行了突袭，企图一举歼灭正在莫港卸载重要部队和补给的水面舰，可惜指挥官攻击性太低，只机动到离莫港8格的海面，KB在极限航程下发起攻击，被CAP的P39和小鹰大大的打了一把火鸡

快掉到第二页了，顶一下。。日军突袭莫尔斯比港，取得了大胜，击沉盟军舰船无数，随后的扫场又干掉了很多飞机。。。日军突击及其生猛啊~

自8月29日盟军58偷袭瓜岛，重创一只日军水面舰队后，KB连夜南下追赶58，至9月1日，已追赶到瓜岛以南约200海里处。58因为大黄蜂号一直没有到岗，不敢硬拼，一直退却到今日。加入大黄蜂的58以4CV+1CVE，载机400余架的堂皇之阵北上，其中战斗机野猫200架，攻击机200架。估计KB的载机在250架左右，其中零战约100架。盟军认为此时具有一定优势，决定大胆突击。为了充分保护58生存，决定150架野猫CAP，只放出50架海军陆战队野猫进行护航。
盟军原本判断此回合日军可能北上避退，没想到日军毫不犹豫继续南下，两军在5格距离上互相发现了对方，均立即放出了攻击队，一场惨烈的海空战就此展开：

总结来说，攻击的结果让盟军指挥部大失所望，日军的实际载机在200架，估计是因为之前的消耗，飞机数量不足没有满载。盟军以400架的2倍优势居然没有打出大战果来，主要还是陆战队的护航野猫太不给力，让攻击机群蒙受了大量损失，盟军差劲的协同也使得攻击机没有发挥出应有的战斗力。双方均损失了100架左右的飞机，主力航母目前都无恙。

战后盟军在分析战局时发现一条惊人的消息：

一队本来指派护航任务的19架的野猫居然临敌畏战，让自己的兄弟姐妹们去送死。。。

盟军海、潜、空三路出击，大破KB

在经历了前一日的失望后，盟军统帅部痛定思痛，重新安排战术，发动了附近所有的潜艇与海面舰只从四面八方拦截KB，同时58像KB最有可能退却的西北方前进，以求取得决定性战果。今天盟军RP彻底爆发，终于大破KB：/ r% }) [! h4 D. ^5 c; I

天刚刚破晓，就在日军正在准备放飞飞行队的时候，地平线上出现了几个黑点，"发现敌军舰船！"哨兵甲喊道。可惜受伤的瑞鹤难以迅速摆脱，双方在26000码相互发现对方，大打出手：

今天盟军一扫昨天的晦气，一举全歼KB，打破了双方均势。
自此瓜岛持续两日的海空大战主要部分就结束了，日军损失正规空母祥鹤、瑞鹤，轻空母龙骧、护航空母云鹰。连同载机200余架一同沉入了大海。
盟军方面萨拉托加号、长岛号中创，没有沉没危险。载机损失同样近200架，其中主要是攻击机。1 V* p/ }  G' s9 z; L1 {# h

瓜岛争夺战的命运就此决定，后续几天58联合水面战力对残留在海面上的日军其他舰只进行了屠杀，重创的DD以上舰只包括：( R- [, O5 h; j! l
