老爷子说他60年代在日本服役2年，2010年已经退休在家了，老伴是一位钢琴教师。

他的一位亲属曾经是某一艘航母上的机械师，参加过太平洋战争。
- }/ {9 g* [3 W+ b有一次在M社官网看到个年龄帖，回帖的貌似年龄都超过40+

When I was in engineering school, a number of my classmates were Material Science majors. My recollection is that their work related to the steel industry. I may have them confused with the metalurgists though. I was in the class of '65, 35 years ago.
