7 t. o+ f _% o 前言：在马绍尔陷落后，KB和皇军水面舰队群在库塞艾岛旁边转悠，一直不肯离去；而盟军在攻克该地区后，本想接走攻击部队，但看到KB一直久久不肯离去，不得已只能派舰队和58护航运输船，本并不打算发动任何攻势。。。& t! G4 R( v, T( u
9月9日，盟军将CA编队行进至夸甲林掩护运输船接送部队，将精锐的BB舰队停在艾琳拉帕拉普护送运输船，而58在旁边一格提供掩护，并由马绍尔的机场群进行空中掩护，一直防范KB。。
