星加坡前期舍不得轰炸机没有持续轰炸，现在搞突击轰炸为时已晚，防御都修上来了，部队都休整完成了，日军要付出较大代价已不可避免！明智之举是待机个2、3周，休整好了再进攻，不然只能加大损失。

当天休整多日的飞虎队连同增援印度的几个飓风编队进驻仰光，4 E( \$ s( D' P" q1 |; v
虽有优势数量，却依然被有经验优势的零战横扫，损失近50战斗机, |2 E4 b% X; C( }6 y/ T
只击落零战10架左右，主要损失是21架飓风2b，看来是飞行员经验问题，
