16.1.1 AUTOMATIC SHIP REPLACEMENTS

if a ship is sunk during the game. Replacement ships are generated if the option is selected

& J; W6 f* y$ f' w kAn American CV is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by an Essex-class CV.
6 A, D) Z: z) E5 l0 Z L4 ~An American or Australian CA that is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by a Baltimore-class
0 r9 \1 Q+ t$ M5 ]. l" f+ ?: ^& FCA or a Cleveland-class CL. The replacement class is chosen at random.
; Q3 F6 t/ }9 J( _: d" ^Japanese Midget Submarines will be replaced with a Type “D” Midget Submarine
( G& O- `$ P t6 \( N3 _$ E) NWhenever a replacement ship is created, it will be placed in the reinforcement list and given an
