There are several instances in which replacement ships may be provided as reinforcements 7 ], _8 `3 r! H8 a& @% S. l% d+ y! ~
if a ship is sunk during the game. Replacement ships are generated if the option is selected

; K# \/ i' E3 I: k$ T/ w" d4 V1 FAn American CV is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by an Essex-class CV.
; \: G5 {! d* i5 J1 \9 |5 B& m: ~An American or Australian CA that is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by a Baltimore-class 3 n# S6 \( O0 s ~% |5 b! b. h
CA or a Cleveland-class CL. The replacement class is chosen at random.: Q5 c" ?5 n2 Y4 C- G' Z* \; W+ W
Japanese Midget Submarines will be replaced with a Type “D” Midget Submarine
